Add an Event

Fill out the Add Event Form to submit an event for posting. Our site administrators will review the information you submit and, if approved, your event will be included in our calendar.

Title and Description

A title for your event

Be descriptive! The more information you include, the better informed people will be about your event.

When and Where

A descriptive location for your event (e.g. "La Jolla Cove" or "Riford Library").

A complete address for your event (e.g. 7911 Herscheal Avenue, La Jolla, CA 92037).

Details

An image for your event, at least 250 pixels wide.

Image Tips:

Try to choose a clear, bright photo or event logo. Square and nearly square images display best. We can accept .jpeg, .tiff, .gif and .png files. Minimum image width is 250 pixels.

A YouTube video id. The 11 characters that distiguish your video from all others, found after the "?v=" in the video URL.

The event sponser, e.g., "La Jolla Historical Society"

A phone number that people can call for more information about your event.

An event website, if one exists.

A public e-mail address where people can send messages for more event information.
