La Jolla Music Society
Presenting many internationally-known artists throughout the year, La Jolla Music Society has quickly earned its place as one of San Diego's major classical presenters of symphony orchestra music.
The box office is at 7946 Ivanhoe Ave Ste 103. Take I-5 south and exit La Jolla Village Dr, turn right onto La Jolla Village Dr and left onto Torrey Pines Rd. Take a slight right onto Ivanhoe Ave E. Take I-5 north and exit W La Jolla Pkwy and continue onto Torrey Pines Rd and take a slight right at Ivanhoe Ave E.
La Jolla Playhouse
With over 300 local and national awards, including 30 Tony Awards, La Jolla Playhouse is now established as one of America's premier theaters.
Located on the UCSD Campus at 2910 La Jolla Village Dr. Exit Torrey Pines Rd off of I-5 and head west up the hill and at your 5th traffic light, make a right at Revelle College Dr and then after a few moments you will see the La Jolla Playhouse on your right.
Museum of Contemporary Art
For 70 years, Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego has culturally enriched San Diego with its consistent and progressive acknowledgment, encouragement and exhibition of contemporary art.
Driving north on I-5 exit W La Jolla Pkwy, continue onto Torrey Pines Rd. Turn right onto Prospect Pl. Driving south on I-5 exit exit La Jolla Village Dr and turn right onto La Jolla Village drive. Turn left onto Torrey Pines Rd and right onto Prospect Pl.
Old Globe Theatre
The Old Globe Theatre in Balboa Park presents 15 plays and musicals year-round on its three stages. The oldest professional theater in the United States, plan to visit the Old Globe Theatre.
Driving South on I-5, exit at Sassafras St and stay on Kettner Blvd and then turn left onto Laurel Street and drive directly into Balboa Park.
Driving North on I-5, exit Sixth Ave and turn right to stay on Sixth Ave until making a right onto Laurel Street which takes you into Balboa Park.
San Diego Civic Theatre
The San Diego Civic Theatre is the largest San Diego theater and performing arts venue hosting an array of live San Diego events including opera, comedy, classical music, Broadway plays and much more.
Driving south on I-5, exit Front St/Civic Center. Turn left on Broadway to 2nd Ave, turn right on Broadway Cir and follow around to NBC Building Garage on the left. Driving north on I-5, exit 6th Ave. Turn left on 6th Ave to Broadway, turn right on Broadway to 2nd Ave. Turn left on Broadway Cir.
San Diego Opera
A crucial part of San Diego culture and art, from late January through May, San Diego Opera performs five productions each year at San Diego Civic Theater in downtown San Diego.
From the north, take I-5 south to the Civic Center/Front St exit, turn right onto 2nd Av and park at the in 2 blocks the San Diego Civic Center Plaza garage directly ahead. From south, take I-5 north to Center City/B St exit and head west. Turn right on 3rd Av, then left to the San Diego Concourse garage.
San Diego Repertory Theatre
San Diego Repertory Theatre is the largest professional San Diego theater company producing and hosting over 350 art events and live San Diego theater productions each year.
San Diego Repertory Theatre is at the underground Lyceum Theatre located at Horton Plaza's main entrance. Drive into downtown San Diego from I-5 and make your way to Horton Plaza mall at Broadway and 4th Ave.
San Diego Summer Pops
San Diego Symphony Summer Pops is a 10 week outdoor San Diego concert series featuring San Diego Symphony together with popular musicians of the day.
Located at Embarcadero Marina Park South. Driving south on I-5, exit Front St toward the Civic Center. Turn left onto W Harbor Drive. Driving north on I-5, exit 14B toward Cesar E Chavez Pkwy, merge onto Kearney Ave, left onto Caser E Chavez Pkwy and right onto E Harbor Dr. Make a U-turn at W Market St.
San Diego Symphony
San Diego Symphony is San Diego's oldest production organization, performing symphony productions dozens of times per year in Symphony Hall San Diego.
Symphony Hall is at 750 B Street on the corner of 7th and B in downtown San Diego.
Driving south on I-5, exit 10th Ave and then turn right on B Street until you reach Symphony Hall.
Driving North on I-5, exit Pershing/B St and then go left off the freeway onto B Street until reaching the Hall.
