About Torrey Pines State Beach
Torrey Pines State Beach is located at the northernmost part of La Jolla stretching four miles up to Del Mar. Located right next to the Torrey Pines State Reserve; visitors can spend a day on the beach or hiking up through the trails along the cliff. Torrey Pines is a favorite of both locals and tourists. Since San Diego is almost always sunny, a day at the beach tanning, surfing, swimming, boogie boarding, picnicking, running and so much more can always be on the agenda. Not only are there endless activities to do here, the sights of this beach are unforgettable. Blue waters, soft sand, and large cliffs that line the entire beach make for one incredible view. A sight that could only slightly top this view is the one up along the cliffs that allows for a 360 degree image of Torrey Pines.
