It all started back in 1970 when the Needle Nook of La Jolla first opened its doors. Fay Bullitt bought the company in 2008. She, herself, is an avid needlepointer and wanted to create the ultimate needlepoint shop. It had to carry the best of everything to appeal to needlepointers like herself.
