Arctic Zero’s Taste of Fitness
Saturday 9 a.m. to noon at Coronado Tidelands Park
Arctic Zero, makers of Fit Frozen Desserts, continues its Freedom Tour as it rolls back home to San Diego. The popular company is sponsoring a health and fitness event benefitting Heartland San Diego and the American Diabetes Association. The fitness festival showcases natural, healthy food and beverages from local companies Saturday at picturesque Coronado Bay. Participants can avail of a half hour boot camp class, a one-hour Vinyasa Yoga class led by Katie Burkeclass, and Yoga instructors who will provide hands-on adjustments. In addition to fitness events, there will free samples, prizes, a photo booth, and live music by DJ DTO. Tickets are a mere $7 donation. Get out and get your body in motion then relax to the music!
Clash at Clairemont
Saturday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Love X Games? The Clash at Clairemont is a full day of skate, BMX and exceptional live music benefitting the Grind for Life cancer charity and the YMCA’s Krause Family Bike and Skate Park. The annual event features a star studded list of over 45 of today’s finest Action Sports athletes. In addition, live bands Cubic III, MC Intelligence, SLOKA, and international punk rock super group The Last of the Bad Men perform beginning at 12:30 onwards. If that weren’t enough, be sure to check out Vendor Village, munch out on a wide selection of food, and participate in various activities such as a BMX demo, Pro Vert Ramp Demo, and Skatercross skateboard racing that are great family friendly fun. Tickets are only $10. Clash at Clairemont is located at 3401 Clairemont Drive in ever awesome San Diego.
Saturday from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m., Waterfront Park
Beer X is a lively all-day 21 plus festival featuring music and craft beer. Highlights of the event consist of live entertainment by bands including Iration, J Boog, Chicano Batman, Magic!, Trouble In The Wind and Splavender. Arrive early and you will receive a complimentary Beer X tasting glass to enjoy bottomless complimentary tastings from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Better yet, get a jump on festivalgoers and snag an early entry VIP ticket that allows access at noon. Patrons can choose from locally sourced food trucks and vendors who will be on hand to serve fantastic tasting grub throughout the event. Additionally, there will also be a variety of beer, wine and cocktails available to buy at concession stands all over the festival grounds. Beer X boasts of expansive grassy areas where you can chillax and watch all of the bands jam out. Waterfront Park is located at1600 Parkway Highway. Hillcrest CityFest 2017
Sunday 12 noon to 11 p.m. in Hillcrest
Come join 150,000 plus people who attend this annual event this Sunday in Hillcrest! Hillcrest CityFest is the largest single-day street fair event in the greater San Diego area featuring a gigantic festivity of community spirit through music, arts, crafts, and plenty of food options. Attendees can shop and browse some 250 vendors and peep out Hillcrest’s numerous charming shops and restaurants. And what would a celebration of this magnitude be without live music, DJ’s, a beer garden, fun games, carnival rides, a dance party and more?
