La Jolla, August 25, 2014 (Warwick’s) — Warwick’s will host a series of speakers and authors this September, including world-renowned author David Mitchell (Cloud Atlas) and Chloe Coscarelli of Food Network’s Cupcake Wars. Check out our exclusive guide to Warwick’s September events below.
David Laskin: September 8, 7:30pm. Award winning and bestselling author discusses his latest title, The Family.
David Zeltser: September 9, 7pm. A children’s book launch event from a local Mount Carmel High School alumnus.
Tom Hom: September 10, 7:30pm. Former San Diego City Councilman and State Assemblyman will present his inspirational memoir, Rabbit on a Bumpy Road.
Nick Agelidis: September 15, 7:30pm. Photographer Nick Agelidis will present his beautiful new book, La Jolla – A Photographic Journey, a stunning book of images.
Elizabeth Silver & Erin McCabe: September 16, 7:30pm. This will be a dual book debut from two fantastic new authors.
James Nestor: September 17, 7:30pm. Discover how humans are more profoundly connected to the sea than we realized in Deep: Freediving, Renegade Science, and What the Ocean Tells Us about Ourselves.
Stuart Rojstaczer: September 18, 7:30pm. A professor of geophysics will debut a brilliant and compelling family saga, The Mathematician’s Shiva.
David Mitchell: September 22, 7pm. Award-winning and bestselling author of Cloud Atlas will present and sign his newest novel, The Bone Clocks.
La Jolla, CA: On Monday, September 22, 2014 at 7:00 PM, Warwick’s presents David Mitchell in conversation with The Book Catapult’s Seth Marko, to discuss and sign Mitchell’s hypnotic new novel The Bone Clocks. This is a ticketed event, and a copy of the book is included. The event will be at The Sherwood Auditorium, Museum of Contemporary Arts San Diego: La Jolla, 700 Prospect Street, La Jolla, CA 92037. Sarah Cornwell: September 23, 7:30pm. Cornwell will debut a gorgeously crafted psychological page-turner and her very first novel- What I Had Before I Had You.
Aaron Becker: September 24, 4:00pm. Becker will present his beautiful new children’s book, Quest, as well as the next chapter in his stunning wordless fantasy. Aaron is also planning on a live drawing demonstration.
Christine Forester: September 25, 7:30pm. Forester will debut her newest novel, a serious yet humorous call to social and political action: RED WHITE and YOU-a Time to Earn One’s Right to Bitch.
Chloe Coscarelli: September 29, 7:30pm. Warwick’s will present vegan chef Chloe Coscarelli, winner of the Food Network’s Cupcake Wars, and her latest cookbook, Chloe’s Vegan Italian Kitchen.
Barb Schmidt: September 30, 7:30pm. With over thirty years devoted to spiritual development, author Barb Schmidt will share a life-changing spiritual guidance book, The Practice.
