This afternoon we received the following message on our La Jolla Blue Book twitter page from Pina Business Services, a tax preparer that advertises in our La Jolla California Blue Book Directory:
- Got a call from a new restaurant, they are looking for a new bookkeeper, and they found me in the La Jolla Blue Book
Since 1937, the La Jolla Blue Book has specialized in connecting local La Jolla businesses with local La Jolla residents. The Blue Book is the original La Jolla Search Engine and what we do best is deliver business to those who advertise with us.
And for much of our 75 years, our specialty has been delivering calls from our print directory. And we are very excited that in just a matter of weeks, our 75th anniversary print Blue Books will be mailed to all of La Jolla. But now with our strong La Jolla Blue Book Website, the popularity of our La Jolla twitter and Facebook La Jolla fan pages, our upcoming app for the smart phone and ipad, we are without a doubt the full service La Jolla Search Engine and whether it’s in print, online or on your phone, what we do best is deliver business to those who advertise.
We very rarely toot our own horn but on this Friday afternoon, we just couldn’t help ourselves. Please allow us this brief moment of satisfaction!
We hope to see everyone Sunday morning at the La Jolla Open Aire Market – we will be serving free coffee to anyone who stops by our booth!
