Saturday, December 31st:

Hornblower NYE Celebration Dinner Cruise

8 p.m., Grape Street Pier, San Diego

Cheers to 2019 onboard Hornblower and the majestic San Diego Bay. Enjoy free flowing champagne, a gourmet buffet prepared fresh onboard by our chefs, DJ entertainment to keep you dancing all night long, and of course incredible views you won’t find anywhere else. Happy New Year San Diego!

Craft Beer New Year

8:30 p.m., Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens (Liberty Station)

You haven’t celebrated New Year’s Eve until you’ve celebrated it at a brewery, and San Diego’s biggest craft brewery, Stone Brewing Company, is having a heck of a party at their Stone Brewing World Bistro and Gardens in Liberty Station.  Go all-out on the last night of the year with an extravagant affair at Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens – Liberty Station. Explore the activities we have planned for every corner of the Bistro and close out 2018 on a high note!

HOB Block Party

9 p.m., House of Blues, Downtown San Diego

Kick off the night with San Diego’s legendary DJ Tanner. Revisit your favorite memories with throwback party Hickies & Dryhumps. And last but not least, countdown to the new year with A-Trak’s Goldie Awards champion, Miles Medina. There’s also a COMPLIMENTARY champagne toast at midnight along with a balloon drop that you won’t want to miss!

Big Night San Diego: New Year’s Eve Gala

9 p.m. to 2 a.m., Hilton San Diego

Big Night San Diego is the perfect, ALL-INCLUSIVE night. Leave your wallet at home because your ticket includes everything: all drinks included all night, buffet, and entertainment throughout the TEN different party zones. (All you need to remember is your ID, because you must be at least 21 to attend.)

The annual Big Night San Diego is an over-the-top celebration at the Hilton San Diego. This is the fifteenth year, and the gala includes drinks, food, dancing and entertainment across 10 different party zones. They’re famous for their countdown to 2018 as the clock strikes midnight. There are several ticket packages but main event admission with all the bells and whistles ranges from $120 to $170. 21 and older only.

Saturday, December 30th:

Holidayfest by the Bay

12 p.m., Hilton San Diego Bayfront

Enjoy the last days of holiday fun at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront. The Hotel offers a outdoor ice rink for seaside skating and lots of fun for the kids with reindeer games at Rudolph’s Mini Golf, and a life-size gingerbread house (without the witch, we promise!) and festive food and drinks. The movie “Frozen” will screen at 7 p.m., and that means everyone will sing “Let It Go” well into 2018! The skating rink opens at 12 p.m. Two-hour self-parking costs $10 and an ice skating session costs $20 for adults and $15 for kids. A $5 military discount is offered.

Saturday, December 31st:

Hornblower NYE Celebration Dinner Cruise

8 p.m., Grape Street Pier, San Diego

If you’ve never taken a cruise around San Diego Bay, make this the year you do. You won’t find views of the city more magical than the ones you’ll see on this luxury yacht on New Year’s Eve. Hornblower will cruise the bay and you’ll enjoy champagne and an excellent buffet dinner.  As you board, you’ll be handed a glass of champagne to toast to the magnificent evening. You’ll hit the dance floor later in the evening and you might just find yourself dancing in the New Year. ickets cost $200.

You’ll also find a live band and a DJ and plenty of lawn games.  Bring in the New Year with a couple of brewskis and you’re sure to look forward to 2018 and all it has to offer.

HOB Block Party

9 p.m., House of Blues, Downtown San Diego

Having a tough time deciding what to do this year? Why not go to a party that’s a lot of parties in one? House of Blues will transform its multiple rooms and stages into individual parties. On the main stage, you can hear from “DJ Craze” and “Panic City.” “Love Come Down” and “Hek and Felt” will also spin. Right now, tickets cost $35 but act fast because they will increase to $50.

The Abbey on Fifth Avenue’s Speakeasy Celebration

9 p.m., The Abbey on Fifth Avenue, San Diego

Back in the Prohibition Era, a speakeasy was  an underground (and illegal) bar where people could enjoy themselves and speak easy. This years, why not experience a bit of the Roaring Twenties yourself? The Abbey on Fifth Avenue is hosting their Speakeasy Celebration. The party starts at 9 p.m. and you’ll find craft cocktails and beer, hors-d’oeuvres and casino games. The glamor of the 1920s will be in full swing, and swing is the right word because you’ll find live jazz tunes and a DJ. You don’t have to wear a costume but if you’re the adventurous type, show up in your most dapper 1920s attire. Tickets cost $79 and $139 for the VIP package, which comes with perks like early entry through a secret entrance, speakeasy style.
