Looking for that special event for dad this weekend? Why not an aerial escapade this Father’s Day? Take that special man in your life on a coastal helicopter flight over San Diego this Sunday! The excursion features some of dad’s beloved sites in San Diego – including spectacular Torrey Pines, Glider Port and Mission Bay. An approximate 18 minute flight time is available this Sunday. DJ Elliott Thomas will be serving up the tunes from the ’80s the entire evening to keep things moving on the dance floor. Nah, don’t even think about it. SEA Days is included with aquarium admission. All the proceeds sustain the exhibits as well as educational programming at Birch Aquarium at Scripps. And the cost? Don’t sweat it, let it. It’s a mere $14 to $18.50. Get on down to 2300 Expedition Way in scenic La Jolla.

Father’s Day Concert in La Jolla

Get your classical vibe on this Sunday and take dad to an event to remember. Chill, relax and enjoy as Erica Poole and Glenn Vanstrum open the soothing event with Brahms’ “Variations on a Theme” by Schumann for piano four hands. Poole will subsequently unite with Andy Helgerson and Cliff Thrasher for Arensky’s D minor piano trio. The special Father’s Day occasion will conclude with Dvorak’s Quintet in A Major, performed by Ray Mak, Andy Helgerson, Lee Wolfe, Cliff Thrasher, and Glenn Vanstrum. The cost is free! Where?
