With summer in full swing, the days are longer leaving us with more time to get out and explore all that San Diego has to offer. This season, Balboa Park museums have countless of fascinating and fun exhibits to satisfy even the strangest intellectual cravings. Ahoy, Matey
For those looking for a more family-friendly exhibit, the San Diego Natural History Museum is hosting Real Pirates: The Untold Story of the Whydah from Slave Ship to Pirate Ship from National Geographic, which explores the slave ship turned pirate ship and all that went on on the fearful voyage. Tickets are $27, but sure to be worth it as it is only in Balboa Park for a limited time. Members can purchase tickets for $15.
