The La Jolla Historical Society will be hosting an event centered around the rich history of La Jolla on Thursday, August 20, featuring photographs and silent films from the late 1800’s and 1900’s. Take a step back in history while you enjoy wine and appetizers at this unique event!
The Athenaeum’s Flicks on the Bricks series is back for the seventh year and kicks off this Thursday, August 7 with classic movies and wines on the patio of the Athenaeum Music & Arts Library. Wine expert Barbara Baxter will introduce the wine that will be paired with each movie, then you’ll be able to kick back and enjoy some classic movies, snacks, and a relaxing balmy evening in La Jolla.
All movies will begin at 7:30pm and doors will open at 7pm. Tickets for the entire series are $60 for members and $80 for nonmembers. Here’s the complete schedule for Flicks on the Bricks 2014:
