Green St. Patty’s Day Beer Magic
11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Home Brewing Co.
Everything else is green, why make an exception to your beer? Home Brewing Co. in North Park is among the local spots offering green brewskies on Saturday. Open until 9 p.m.

San Diego ShamROCK
2 p.m. to Midnight, Gaslamp Quarter
The 25th Annual San Diego ShamROCK will return to downtown’s Gaslamp Quarter, and the streets will be green with St. Patrick’s Day liveliness. The event  will span six blocks, and includes live music across three stages. General admission tickets start at $30.

San Diego Whale Watching Tours
9:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m., Flagship Cruises & Events
Come experience an incredible moment with nature at the San Diego Whale Watching Tours. Aboard the two-story yacht, the Marietta, and enjoy the three-and-a-half hours tour. Weekend prices cost $48 for adults and $24 for children ages 4 to 12. Departure times vary, depending on the day you choose to cruise. 

Best Coast Beer Fest
1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Embarcadero Park South
Bottoms up! This Saturday The Best Coast Beer Fest will be bringing more than 100 breweries together for a day of brewskies, food, music and fun at Embarcadero Park South. Tickets are $55 and include unlimited beer samples and a souvenir cup. Tickets the day of the event are $60.

Find some tranquility this weekend at the Quartyard. This weekly yoga series is presented by the Downtown San Diego Partnership, and is a family-friendly, one-hour class led by Yoga One. All ages and yogi levels are welcome. Don’t forget your mat!

Gaslamp Quarter Mardi Gras: Big Easy Bites & Booze Tour
1 p.m. to 5 p.m., The Field Irish Pub
It’s that time of year again! If you can’t make it to New Orleans, you can ring in Mardi Gras 2019 with aself-guided, walking tasting tour. Try New Orleans foods and libations from 20 of the top spots in downtown San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter. Have some fun VIP after-party once you collect 10 beads. Tickets run at $30, and this event is obviously 21+

It’s the (second) happiest time of year! San Diego Restaurant week is here! From January 21st – 28th, 180 participating eateries will be making customers across San Diego very happy. Restaurants will be offeing special prix fixe lunch and/or dinner menus featuring two to three courses. Prices and specials vary. Bon appetit!

13th Annual Fine Art Festival

Come celebrate 13 years of Liberty Station’s Art District at Ingram Plaza. The event will take place at The Arts District, which will have booths with local artists, beer and wine, and street food at this. Not to mention, the event is free!
San Diego Beer and Wine Fest 
3 to 6 p.m., Embarcadero Marina Park North
 
Get ready to cheers! Two festivals, San Diego Beer Fest and San Diego’s Uncorked Wine Festival, have teamed up for one large event. The inaugural San Diego Beer and Wine Fest will have unlimited samples from a selection of hundreds of brews and wines. A $55 general admission ticket gets you everything you need. Don’t worry, there will also be tasty bites for purchase from food trucks.

Cinema Under the Stars: ‘When Harry Met Sally’
8 p.m., Hotel Del Coronado 
 
Grab a blanket and a lawn chair, and get ready to watch a movie under the stars. Come watch “When Harry Met Sally,” starting at 8 p.m. A different film will be shown each week for the summer season through September 2. Admission is $18 at the box office, or you can reserve your seat in advance for $20.
Nature Walk at Silver Strand State Beach
1:30 to 2:30 p.m., Lifeguard Headquarters (Silver Strand)
It’s going to be a beautiful and warm weekend to get outside! Get in on this free, one-hour nature walk as you use learn about the scenery and the animals in their natural habitat. The walk begins at Lifeguard Headquarters.

La Jolla Music Society SummerFest
7 p.m., Conrad Prebys Concert Hall

The La Jolla Music Society SummerFest kicks off this weekend, and this year they are saying goodbye to Music Director Cho-Liang Lin after 18 years at their annual SummerFest concert series. Different ticket options are available, starting at $49 to 16-concert packages. SummerFest runs through August 24.
Farm to Bay
4 to 7:30 p.m., Living Coast Discovery Center 

Calling all foodies! Today is your lucky day. At Farm to Bay you’ll be able to sample delicious food from San Diego’s restaurants while supporting wildlife programs. This year’s event will feature creations from three local chefs plus local eateries. What about libations? They’ve got you covered! Farm to Bay will also bring together more than a dozen local beer and winemakers. Tickets are $100, and all food and drink is included with the purchase.
Movies on the Beach: ‘The Incredibles’
8 p.m., Hotel Del Coronado 
 
Grab a blanket and a lawn chair, and get ready to watch a movie under the stars…. and in the sand. Come watch “The Incredibles,” starting at 8 p.m. Different movies will play at the Hotel Del Coronado’s outdoor theater every Saturday through Sept. 1, and tickets are only $20.00

Summer Fun on the 101
12 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., near Beacon’s Beach (Encinitas)

Do you love music? Do you love the beach? Let’s be honest- who doesn’t?! The Encinitas’ beachside summer concert will take place this Saturday at Beacon’s Beach. It will feature a beer garden with libations from The Lost Abbey, Port Brewing Company and Boochcraft. The event is free with raffle tickets sold to raise funds for music education programs in Encinitas.

High Tide Dinners
7:30 p.m., The Marine Room

Come enjoy steamed Pacific Oysters, herb-sprinkled Lobster Tail, fresh cuts of Black Angus Filet Mignon and more at The Marine Room this Sunday as you enjoy views from the pacific shoreline. This is surely a summer experience you don’t want to miss. Reservations should be made in advance.

Kick off Father’s Day weekend at the Classic Car Show in Hillcrest. Each third Saturday of the month car collectors bring out their classic models to show off at to Pride Plaza. See some beauties, and enjoy Hillcrest this beatiful weekend! 
 
Mainly Mozart Festival Orchestra
7:30 p.m., Balboa Theatre
The Mainly Mozart Festival is celebrating its 30th year, and you don’t want to miss it. Cellist Johannes Moser joins the orchestra on stage at the Balboa Theatre to perform Mozart and other renowned composers. Tickets start at only $30.

If you get by with a little help from dad, let him know this Father’s Day by taking him to Quartyard. The Baja Bugs, a group of four musicians will be performing the Beatles’ hits at the Quartyard this Sunday. Come have some drinks and listen to great music. The event is free before 5 p.m. and $5 after!
