On Christmas Day savor an à la carte menu that features Cervena Farm Elk Medallions, Blackberry Cider Brined Mary’s Farm Turkey Breast and Pistachio Crusted Maine Lobster Tail.
Ring in the New Year with a culinary celebration to remember. Choose from an exquisite five-course menu that features Mulberry Wine Braised Imperial Wagyu Beef, Dill Pollen Butter Basted Maine Lobster Tail. Seating begins at 8:30 p.m. Cost is $185 per person and includes live music from the Whitney Shay Band. For those looking to ring in the New Year a little earlier, a three-course dinner for $115 per person is available at 5:30 p.m.

The buffet is available on Tuesday, December 25 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and is $64 per person with special pricing for children 12 and under.

The phrase and title of this piece, Demos Gracias, translates as ‘a call for thanksgiving’ – a message that artist Lorenzo Hurtado Segovia conveys through a golden sunburst and a lively pattern to create what is arguably one of the most colorful La Jolla murals to date. Papel Picado (an essential decoration for special occasions and an homage to traditional Mexican Folk art) and Prayer banners intersect the image, reading optimistic messages like “for love” and “for a better future.” The mural resides above Galaxy Taco down at La Jolla Shores. If you’ve been down to La Jolla Shores within the past year or two, you may have noticed the La Jolla Shores lifeguard tower gracing the beach. RNT Architects, the same firm that redesigned the Japanese Friendship Garden, handled the project along with design collaborator Hector M. Perez. Even though the project was finished in May of 2013, most people don’t know the unseen consideration that went into the project to make it the perfect fit with the community’s environmental and personality needs. The owners of Everyday California, a La Jolla-based lifestyle company offering ocean adventures and California-sourced apparel, have created a new concept: Woholle Juice Box, which will join Brick and Bell and Galaxy Taco as a newcomer at the Shores.
