‘Tis the Season: Celebrate at Adelaide’s Holiday Open House

adelaide's holiday open houseThe Adelaide’s Holiday Open House has been a La Jolla tradition for more than 25 years. This event is a great opportunity for the community to get a first-hand look at this seasons holiday gifts and decor; shoppers will be among the first guests to buy and browse holiday selections from a large group of Girard Avenue merchants. On Sunday November 9 from 10am-4pm, head over to Adelaide’s to shop, celebrate the holidays, and enjoy the festivities!

This year’s vendors include Adelaide’s, Geppetto’s, Warwick’s, Girard Gourmet, and Meanley & Sons Ace Hardware. Each business will be celebrating the holiday spirit with store drawings, food, refreshments, music, book signings and demonstrations, great gift ideas, and old-fashioned friendly service. As an added benefit, all of the participating merchants will be donating 10% of their sales to San Diego’s Ronald McDonald House Charities. There will be also be a special performance by the La Jolla Country Day Madrigal group at noon.

This year’s event will be from 10am-4pm on Sunday, November 9. Stores are located between the 7700 and 7800 blocks of Girard Avenue and will be decorated with green and gold balloons.
