So Fine on Kline Performer, Americana Artist Brad Perry.
November in the Village kicks off with the third annual So Fine on Kline block party! This year’s event will be Sunday, November 8 from 9 am – 6 pm which coincides with Adelaide’s Holiday Open House. If you’re looking for a weekend activity to please everyone, this is it! So Fine on Kline is free to attend and includes activities, attractions, and treats for all.
A fun and active atmosphere is kept up all day with the 91X van and performances by musical artists Honeyrock, Saline Solutions, Ali Burress and Brad Perry (top image). A big thanks to Greg Krikorian for his sponsorship! Take a stroll past local vendors and vintage 1960 Woodys on display! If you’re looking for something more active, La Jolla Sports Club will be hosting a spin-a-thon from 9 am -11 am, and a free yoga event will also be held that morning. The Kids’ Zone is sponsored by Papa Doug and Geniya Manchester this year. Kids will have a blast with crafts and art projects, jump houses, tall slides, pony rides, and a petting zoo.
Getting hungry? Spike Africa’s Fresh Fish Bar and Grill will be serving specialties.
Feeling competitive? Try a hot dog or pie eating contest or stopping by the chili cookoff (The Cottage will be participating—yum!). Chili proceeds benefit 4th of July fireworks. You can also join in on a silent auction for a custom surfboard or buy raffle tickets. Raffle winners will get 50% of all ticket proceeds and you don’t need to be present to win, so take advantage of that golden opportunity! Tickets can be purchased at the event or ahead of time by contacting 858-454-2631.
Ocean House on Prospect Apartment Homes sponsors this year’s beer (and wine) garden, including two 80″ screen’s worth of NFL football playing all day in the beergarden! There’ll be food options for everyone all the way down Kline with street tacos, root beer floats, Spike Africa’s Fresh Fish Grill and Bar, and more.
Be sure to stop by La Jolla Blue Book’s booth to play the spin wheel and win some prizes from local business like Chedi Thai Bistro, Carino’s, Meanley’s, Harry’s, Richard Walkers, and tickets to the La Jolla Playhouse! For more upcoming La Jolla events, check out our calendar here.
