South Park Fall Walkabout

What: The South Park Walkabout is a quarterly fun-filled evening festival that showcases all the unique and independent businesses within South Park. Enjoy complimentary treats, live entertainment and special offers. A variety of South Park restaurants will be offering a $5 Taste of Harvest. La Mesa Oktoberfest
When: Friday Oct 3 – Sunday Oct 5, 10am – 5pm

What: Come out this weekend for the largest three-day Oktoberfest this side of the Mississippi! The La Mesa Oktoberfest covers seven city blocks with 250 craft booths and five food courts (with plenty of authentic German sausage and sauerkraut), plus two beer gardens, a dance floor and a children’s carnival. 2014 MCAS Miramar Air Show
When: Friday Oct 3 – Sunday Oct 5, 10am-9pm
Where: MCAS Miramar; San Diego, CA 92145
What: The Blue Angels are back! MCAS Miramar Air Show features three full days of flying and entertainment, food and novelty booths, children’s activity area, military displays, trade show, and more. Even better, entrance is free to the public; VIP seating ranges in price up to $250.

What: This one-day event is perfect for visitors looking to enjoy all that San Diego beaches have to offer. Whether traveling or walking from your house down the street, young, old or somewhere in between Pacific BeachFest has something for everyone! This year Pacific Beachfest will feature “The Best of the Beach” fish taco contest, a surf competition, a competitive beach volleyball tournament, a 5k Fun Run, and more!
San Diego Night Market
When: Saturday Oct 4, 4pm – 11:45pm
Where: Engineer Rd. near Convoy St.; 7990 Engineer Road, San Diego, CA
What: Inspired by the lively night markets found in major cities throughout Asia, this open-air urban experience features everything from boba drinks and specialty tofu to ethnic goods and apparel. Attendees will discover more than 50 vendors selling Asian-inspired street food and merchandise; a beer garden will feature local craft beer and spirits; and a centralized performance stage will feature cultural dances, songs, live DJs and a drive-by cinema by Pacific Arts Movement, the organizer of the annual San Diego Asian Film Festival. The San Diego Night Market brings together a fusion of Asian street food, culture and entertainment within the bustling Convoy District.
Taste & Art Stroll in Del Mar
When: Sunday Oct 5, 10am-5pm
Where: 1700 Coast Blvd, Del Mar 92014
What: There’s no better way to celebrate Fall than by attending the Del Mar Village Association’s annual Taste & Art Stroll in Del Mar. The event includes a FREE art stroll and a ticketed restaurant taste as well as additional beer and wine tastings. Taste Tickets are $25 before the event and $30 on the day of. Enjoy delicious culinary creations from 24+ restaurants and sip stops at 8 different locations; juried artwork by local and regional artists; and live music and a dog stroll later in the day.
