The weather is still beautiful and the water is still warm, so take advantage of San Diego’s year-round summer vibes and attend some of these awesome events around the city. Ocean Beach Oktoberfest

Where: Newport Ave and Abbott St. Parking Lot, San Diego 92107
What: The 10th Annual Ocean Beach Oktoberfest – the uniquely Southern California salute to the celebration of German culture and fun – is back as a premiere two day event at the foot of the OB Pier! This year’s festival will include the return of the Ms. Oktoberfest semis and finals, the famous $10,000 Sausage Toss, a Brat Trot Beach Run on Saturday morning, great local live music both days, awesome food, great beachside vendors and of course amazing German beer! Admission to the beer garden is a $3 donation, which supports the community of Ocean Beach.

La Jolla Art & Wine Festival

Where: Girard Ave (between Prospect Ave and Torrey Pines Rd), La Jolla CA 92037
What: The La Jolla Art & Wine Festival is a two-day art show and fundraiser that has rapidly gained the reputation of being one of the most prestigious art and wine festivals in Southern California. Works from over 150 artists from San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange County, Baja and more will be on display. The family-friendly festival will feature live music and entertainment, a gourmet marketplace, a family art center, silent auction, and beer and wine gardens that include premier wineries and some of San Diego’s top breweries.

Parktoberfestsan diego weekend events

When: Saturday Oct 11, 11am-10pm
Where: 330 Grape Street, San Diego 92102
What: The long-awaited Oktoberfest celebration in South Park, brought to you by South Park Abbey, is here! This free-to-attend event will have a massive 21+ Oktoberfest style beer garden as well as a family friendly section with face painting, carnival acts and more. There will be local eats including traditional Bavarian sausages, pretzels, & German potato salad. Local breweries like Stone, Ballast Point, and 8 others will provide one German-style beer and one local favorite at the Beer Garden.

12th Annual Celebrate the Craft

When: Sunday Oct 12, 11:30am-3pm
Where: The Lodge at Torrey Pines; 11480 N Torrey Pines Rd, La Jolla 92037
What: The Lodge at Torrey Pines will host its 12th-Annual Celebrate the Craft, a festival that showcases the region’s best chefs, produce, wine, and beer. The Lodge Executive Chef Jeff Jackson will prepare the farm-to-table menu with an all-star lineup of chefs from around San Diego. Produce will be provided by more than a dozen farms and ranches, and The Lodge Sommelier Paul Krikorian will feature several vintners. A select number of breweries will also be on hand, including AleSmith Brewing Company.

Fifth Avenue Auto Showcase

When: Sunday Oct 12, 11am-4pm
Where: Fifth Avenue (between E and K Streets), San Diego
What: Join other car enthusiasts for the 6th Annual Fifth Avenue Auto Showcase this Sunday! This year’s free to view event will feature 150+ high-performance automobiles along Fifth Ave, ranging from the traditional classics to the lavish contemporary luxury vehicles. This family-friendly event is free to view and open to public! Spend a day in the Gaslamp Quarter taking in the breathtaking views of stunning automobiles along Fifth Avenue while exploring the district’s unique shops and galleries or enjoy a delicious meal on a Gaslamp open-air patio.
