What: This year’s theme is A Fair to Remember: a Celebration of World’s Fairs and Balboa Park in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Panama-California Exposition. Enjoy deep fried food on-a-stick, rides, animals, games, and world-class exhibits in fine art, photography, woodworking, jewelry, and gems. Tickets are $15 for adults.
When: Saturday June 6, 12pm-8pm
Where: Adams Avenue, San Diego 92116
What: A free and family-friendly event, Art Around Adams will showcase numerous visual and performance artists, stretching from Oregon street in Normal Heights to Vista street in Kensington. More than 100 businesses will change into impromptu art galleries and/or performance arenas for the day. Enjoy Adams Avenue in a friendly, relaxed and carefree environment where taste-makers and free thinkers mix freely with family and friends.

What: Head to Balboa Park for a celebration of Philippine arts, culture, and history that showcases a century of the Filipino American experience in Balboa Park, San Diego, and beyond. Enjoy traditional performances, Filipino food and vendors, Philippine games and activities, a Spirits & Beer Garden, and more. The celebration will be held all weekend long starting Friday at 6:30 pm until Sunday at 5pm. Visit website for complete details.

Where: 4888 Date Avenue, La Mesa 91942
What: The La Mesa Craft Beer and Wine Festival is an event that recognizes and celebrates local businesses and involves various breweries, wineries and food establishments that are local favorites. There will also be live music throughout the day. Admission includes entrance to the events beer garden with access to the various local vendors (beer, wine) and music. Each ticket grants the person unlimited 2oz. beer or wine tasters.

What: In over four decades, the St. Spyridon Community has established a reputation of serving the finest homemade Greek foods and pastries in all of California. Treat yourself to an enjoyable weekend filled with delicious Greek food, imported wine and beer, live traditional Greek music and dancing.
