Ocean Beach Street Fair & Chili Cook-Off

When: Saturday June 27, 10am-8pm
Where: Newport Avenue, San Diego 92107
What: The 36th Annual Ocean Beach Street Fair & Chili Cook-Off Festival will offer attendees eclectic fun in the sun that’s great for all ages. Join more than 65,000 visitors for tasty festival nosh, art, beachfront entertainment, shopping and, more. The Chili Competition will feature more than two dozen tastings from amateur entrants competing for the titles of Hottest Chili, Judges’ Award and Grand Prize: People’s Choice Award.

Summer Fun on the 101

When: Saturday June 27, 11:30am-8pm
Where: Leucadia Roadside Park; 860 N Coast Hwy 101, San Diego 92024
What: The Leucadia 101 Main Street Association is proud to present the 6th annual Summer Fun on the 101 music festival! Music starts at noon, and there will also be fun lawn activities, a raffle, kids art, the much anticipated hula-hoop contest and a beer garden for the adults with delicious local brews by Port/Lost Abbey Brewing.

Julian Gold Rush Days

When: Saturday June 27 & Sunday June 28
Where: Julian, CA 92036
What: Julian Gold Rush Days is a great opportunity to turn back the clock and give visitors an idea what Julian was like in its early days. It’s entertainment for the whole family! Explore historical encampments, old fashioned mining camps, gem mining, scavenger hunts, train rides, and mine tours.

Distilled: San Diego Spirit & Cocktail Festival

When: Saturday June 27, 1pm-5pm
Where: Del Mar Fairgrounds; 2260 Jimmy Durante Blvd., Del Mar 92014
What: The San Diego County Fair presents the 1st annual Distilled Spirit & Cocktail Festival! Distilled will feature creatively distilled spirits and handcrafted cocktails from the best bartenders and distillers in San Diego. Mixologists will be scheduled at specific times in the bars to create a cocktail for sampling, and their creations will be judged and prizes awarded at the end of the festival. A wristband allows guests 10 tastes of spirits and/or cocktails.

When: Saturday June 27 & Sunday June 28, 10am-5pm
Where: Liberty Station; 2640 Historic Decatur Road, San Diego 92110
What: KidsFest is San Diego’s largest hands-on, creative festival for kids and their families. With over 100,000 square feet of interactive fun, dozens of activity stations and 50+ exhibitors, KidsFest is filled with simple, organic, creative play for kids. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Chloe Nichols Foundation.

Taste of Adams Avenue

When: Sunday June 28, 11am-3pm
Where: Along Adams Avenue from Normal Heights to Kensington, San Diego 92116
What: The 15th annual Taste of Adams Avenue is a gastronomic trek featuring 30 restaurants, coffee houses, pubs, wine bars and unique eateries in one of San Diego’s hottest and historic neighborhoods. In addition to the tasting tour, attendees can also experience the neighborhoods many distinctive shops along the Adams Avenue business corridor.
