Saturday, July 28th:
Imperial Beach Surf Dog Competition 
8 to 3 p.m., Imperial Beach Pier
Mans best friend is also man’s surfing buddy! The Imperial Beach Surf Dog Competition is Saturday! Pups will be riding the waves for an event that raises funds for the San Diego Humane Society. Come enjoy beer garden, and watch the cuteness overload.
Talmadge Pop-Up Art Show 
2 to 8 p.m., Cygnet Theatre
 
Calling all art lovers! The Talmadge Art Show will take place this weekend and will highlight the work of dozens of local artists. This week, they are bringing their show on the road, with a shop outside Cygnet Theatre. Enjoy browsing wonderful work from wonderful artists!
Sunday, July 29th:

All Weekend: Gaslamp Artisan Market
10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Fifth Avenue
Go check out the new Gaslamp Quarter’s Fifth Avenue between Market Street and Island Avenue and let us know what you think! Pop through different restaurants and shops, and explore the new exciting area!

Guided Nature Walk 9:30 a.m., Mission Trails Regional Park Visitor Center

It’s going to be a beautiful weekend to get outside! Take a free guided 1.5 hour nature walk from Mission Trails Regional Park. Along the way you’ll learn about animals, plants, and history of this park in San Diego.
