Another beautiful weekend in San Diego – and no shortage of things to do outdoors and with the family. From the annual LGBT Pride Parade & Festival in Hillcrest to Imperial Beach’s Sun & Sea Festival, these San Diego weekend events are things you won’t want to miss.

What: The 2015 Imperial Beach Sun & Sea Festival will feature world-class sandcastle sculptors creating some of the best sand creations on the West Coast as well as a community parade and pancake breakfast (7-9am), live music, children’s craft activities, a Kids ‘n Kastles competition, Farmer’s Market and International Food Fair. Sample a variety of foods at the Certified Farmer’s Market and International Food Fair from 10am-5pm at Portwood Pier Plaza and along Seacoast Drive.
When: Saturday July 18. Parade starts at 11am.

What: The annual San Diego Pride Parade is among the largest in the United States! Come be a part of this year’s historic celebration. Come show your Pride on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 11am! The parade begins at the Hillcrest Pride Flag at University Ave. and Normal St. and ends at Laurel St. – where you’ll find the entrance to the Pride Music Festival! The Music Festival goes all day Saturday & Sunday with 5 stages and 100 entertainers.

Where: Oceanside Pier Ampitheatre; 200 N. The Strand, Oceanside 92054
What: Rubio’s CoastFest is a celebration of the ocean and its many gifts. From the bounty it offers to the shores it graces, the ocean is more than a resource for Rubio’s: it is a way of life. Participate in a beach cleanup starts at 10am and after enjoy a sneak preview of their new Santa Fe Crusted Tilapia taco before it hits their restaurants; live music, food and drink, a kids’ zone, and activities will go until 2pm.
When: Saturday July 18, 12pm-5pm
Where: Waterfront Park; 1600 Pacific Hwy., San Diego 92101
What: Enjoy lemon and garlic inspired food tastings from San Diego’s top culinary minds, cooking demonstrations, a beer and wine garden, dozens of retail vendors, a free family area, and tons of tasty delights and fun activities for all ages. More than 40 local restaurants will be participating; there will also be local music and a festive beer garden and wine tasting area. Each Beer Garden attendee will receive a souvenir Lemon Zest & Garlic Fest tasting mug.
When: Sunday July 19, 7am
Where: Armada Dr & Fleet St., Carlsbad 92008
What: The Carlsbad Grand Prix is a cycling criterium circuit along a 0.9 mile closed course that loops through Armada Drive and Fleet Street in Carlsbad. This full day of races will feature more than 700 junior, amateur, and professional cyclists competing in timed races for prizes and/or cash in front of 2,000 spectators. Additionally, the Kids Fun Race will host over 100 entrants. Races starts at 7:00 AM and finish in the late afternoon. A healthy lifestyle expo will take place along the course and is free and open to the public.
