The weekend we’ve all been waiting for is here! There’s something for everyone happening in San Diego this Halloween, from trick-or-treating in La Jolla to Monster Bash downtown and an epic party at the Hotel Del. When: Friday Oct 30, 3pm-5pm
Where: La Jolla Village
What: Bring your little pillagers to this fun, family event! Spend an afternoon of trick or treating at participating merchants in La Jolla village. Each participating merchant will be designated by orange and black balloons outside storefronts. Dress in your best costume and watch for witches casting spells!

Where: Hotel Del Coronado; 1500 Orange Ave, Coronado 92118
What: Celebrate Halloween at San Diegos famous haunted hotel on Friday, October 30. Don your best costume and join The Del for the 6th annual, adults-only, Hallo-wine and Spirits Party full of spooky surroundings, great eats, delicious wines and dancing until you drop! This years theme is Witches and Warlocks. The dinner reception is from 7-9pm; afterwards, the party heads into the Crown Room for dessert and a costume contest.

Where: Balboa Park; 1549 El Prado, San Diego 92101
What: Families can start their Halloween Day celebrations with a spine-tingling array of free hands-on activities and free museum admission for kids 12 and under (with paid adult) at the annual Balboa Park Halloween Family Day! Over two dozen participating museums and cultural attractions throughout the Park will present arts and crafts projects for kids, costume parades and contests, spooky gallery tours and treasure hunts, and other fun surprises until 4pm.

Where: International Cottages at Balboa Park; 2294 Pan American Plaza, San Diego
What: Trick or Treating’ around the world on Halloween starts at the International Cottages in Balboa Park on Saturday, October 31 as part of Family Day. Also, learn about Halloween in the many cultures of the House of Pacific Relations.
When: Sat Oct 31, 7pm-midnight
Where: Whaley House Museum; 2476 San Diego Avenue, San Diego 92110
What: Be transported back to the nineteenth century with a Halloween Night visit to the most haunted house in America! The Whaleys’ grand home will be shrouded in traditional mourning for a young boy’s funeral and enveloped in shadows cast by the eerie, mysterious glow of oil lamp light just as the Whaley family would have experienced it. Admission is $15 for adults.
When: Saturday Oct 31, 6pm-midnight
Where: 7th & Market Street, San Diego 92101
What: San Diego’s biggest Halloween Block Party returns and will be unleashed on the Gaslamp Quarter and East Village neighborhoods transforming over eight city blocks into the largest Halloween event in California. Be prepared to experience FIVE of the most insane stages and freaky areas that will test your boundaries and transport you to worlds beyond your imagination! Tickets are $60 at the door that night.
