What: The Little Saigon San Diego Foundation presents the Lunar New Year Festival of 2015! For thousands of years the Lunar New Year has been observed in various countries around the world influenced by Chinese civilization and it remains Vietnam’s most celebrated holiday. 2015 marks the Year of the Goat. This year’s theme is “Taste, See, Hear, Touch, Smell and Feel the Asian Experience.”

What: In 1987, renowned virtuoso violinist János Négyesy established a series of Chamber Music concerts called the “Soirée for Music Lovers.” The quarterly concerts, featuring chamber music from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries, quickly became a beloved part of San Diego’s music scene. General admission tickets are $15.

What: Write Out Loud presents an evening of stories about love and romance in the Athenaeum’s intimate Music Room. Gifted actors will bring stories of love, passion and romance to life; infuse your Valentine’s Day with the spirit of romance. Love Notes will feature both classic and contemporary stories that stir the heart and quicken the pulse. The program will last two hours, including an intermission that features complimentary champagne with chocolate and fresh fruit. Tickets are $30 for nonmembers.
Coronado Valentine’s Day 10K

What: The 5th Annual Coronado Valentine’s Day 10K & 1 Mile Fun Run will be held on Sunday, February 15 in Coronado. In its 5th year, the event has earned a great reputation for its attention to detail, race management, and an awesome post-race party.
