From a bike ride over the Coronado Bridge to a film festival in Julian and a Spirits festival on the Bay, we’ve rounded up our top 5 San Diego weekend events. What: The 7th San Diego Spirits Festival is San Diego’s largest cocktail festival; it will feature exhilarating entertainment and showcase craft cocktails, culinary expertise and local culture. Experience new and unique cocktails, check out great liquor purveyors, talented mixologist, and taste the dishes of great chefs. From the prestigious Executive Chef to the foodie and the novice cocktail enthusiast, this two-day festival has something for everyone.

Where: Julian Union High School; 1656 Highway 78, Julian 92036
What: Julian’s fourth annual festival will be showcasing award-wining films about nature, community activism, adventure, conservation, water, energy and climate change, wildlife, environmental justice, and more. These films combine stellar film-making, beautiful cinematography, and first-rate storytelling. The Festival will kick off with Friday night films at the Julian Station and continues through Saturday evening.

What: HarborFest is a free, family-friendly celebration that never ceases to excite and energize the community — and 2015 will be no exception! Scheduled for Saturday, August 22 at the Chula Vista Marina, HarborFest welcomes everyone to enjoy a classic summer festival in our beautiful city. Dance to the music playing live on three stages, eat your fill at the “Taco & Spirits Revolution” or Food Truck Alley and take the kids to the Discovery Zone complete with shows, interactive activities, arts and crafts, and more.
When: Saturday August 22, 4pm-7pm
Where: Westfield UTC; 4545 La Jolla Village Dr., San Diego 92122
What: Savor some of San Diego’s finest brews while tasting bites from Westfield UTC’s favorite restaurants and enjoying live acoustic performances from top local Plaza Unplugged artists. Guests can do a self-guided beer walk to 4 beer gardens that will be set up throughout Westfield UTC. Sampling restaurants include Seasons 52, Tender Greens, PIRCH, Bottega Italiana Gelato, and more!
When: Sunday August 23, 5:30am-12:30pm
Where: Embarcadero Marina Park South; 1 Marina Park Way, San Diego 92101
What: Join the ride and this fun summer tradition! Bike the Bay is a fun ride for people of all levels of riding ability and anyone who just wants to enjoy a scenic bayside ride – especially the only opportunity of the year to ride over the San Diego-Coronado Bay Bridge! The 25-mile route passes through the cities of San Diego, Coronado, Imperial Beach, Chula Vista and National City and finishes at Embarcadero Marina Park South with a festive celebration with food, entertainment and a New Belgium beer garden.
