Labor Day – and unfortunately, the tail-end of summer – is coming up, but this weekend is chock-full of great activities in San Diego! From the “Best Of” party to biking the Coronado Bridge and an art walk in North County, there’s plenty going on in America’s Finest City. Check out our top San Diego weekend events! Please check ticket availability prior to attending any event, as they may sell out.

Best of San Diego Party

When: Friday, Aug 26; 6:30-9:30pm
Where: Liberty Station
What: The Best of San Diego Party brings together the top restaurants, wineries and breweries from all over the county for an unforgettable evening of food and entertainment. Enjoy unlimited tastings from celebrated local chefs, sips from local breweries and wineries, and cocktails made from premium spirits. Expect live entertainment, DJ’s and even a few surprise performances. Several of our favorite La Jolla restaurants will be showcasing their cuisine, as well!

Carlsbad Music Festival

When: Fri, Aug 26 – Sun, Aug 28
Where: Carlsbad Village; 258 Beech Ave, Carlsbad 92008
What: The 13th annual Carlsbad Music Festival is a 3-day summer celebration of music in the charming seaside Village of Carlsbad. The Festival features 60+ performances of creative music of all kinds, including 10 ticketed concerts; free outdoor concerts all weekend; free New Currents concerts on Saturday and Sunday; and a beer garden, food trucks and artisan market on Saturday & Sunday. The Festival programming is an eclectic mix of creative and adventurous music ranging from contemporary classical, to indie rock, to jazz.

Imperial Avenue Street Festival

When: Saturday, Aug 27; 12pm-9pm
Where: Imperial Avenue & 28th St.
What: The Imperial Avenue Street Festival blends art and soul in one of San Diego’s most historic and unique neighborhoods. The festival celebrates the rich history, arts and culture of the Greater Logan Heights community, from its rich African-American roots to the strong Latino influence that exists today. Check out live music from multiple stages, browse through 4 blocks of local artists’ displays, and enjoy gourmet food and beverages from local vendors. Entrance is free.

Bike the Bay 2016

When: Sunday, Aug 28; 5:30am-12:30pm
Where: Embarcadero Marina Park South
What: Ride the bridge, bike the bay! Cruise around the San Diego Bay and enjoy your only opportunity to ride across the San Diego Coronado Bay Bridge. This non-competitive community bike ride is for riders of all abilities and will take you on a scenic, and primarily flat, ride around the San Diego Bay via the Bayshore Bikeway. Along the way, riders will travel 25 miles through the surrounding cities of Coronado, Imperial Beach, Chula Vista and National City before finishing back at the start/finish line at Embarcadero Marina Park in downtown San Diego.

13th Annual LeucadiART Walk

When: Sunday, Aug 28; 10am-5pm
Where: Historic Leucadia; N Coast Hwy 101, Encinitas 92024
What: Join north county for LeucadiART Walk, a revival of the original 80’s art event in historic Leucadia. Local juried artists will be displaying original art in specified areas along Coast Highway 101 in Leucadia, and there will be 6 different spots with live music. There will also be live mural paintings, a Craft Beer Garden, and a Children’s Art Pavilion where the little ones can participate in the fun. Don’t miss this street fest!
