Friday Night Liberty: Dance Crazy

When: Friday April 3, 5pm-9pm
Where: NTC Liberty Station. 2640 Historic Decatur Rd., San Diego 92106
What: April 3 is Dance Crazy at Friday Night Liberty! See the best dance companies in San Diego perform – including performances from Malashock Dance, San Diego Dance Theater, and Patricia Rincon Dance Collective – all for free! April is also Pet Appreciation Month at NTC! Bring your dog for a homemade dog treat at Inspirations Gallery and see their exhibit Pets on Parade.

La Jolla Spring Egg Hunt

When: Saturday April 4, 10am-1pm
Where: La Jolla Recreation Center. 615 Prospect Street, La Jolla 92037
What: This fun event for the whole family includes meet and greet with Peter Rabbit and a goodie bag, face painter, arts & crafts. Children must bring their own basket to the egg hunt. Egg hunt is free. $3 per child for activities.

Mission Valley Craft Beer & Food Festival

When: Saturday April 4, 12pm-5pm
Where: Qualcomm Stadium. 9449 Friars Rd., San Diego 92108
What: San Diego’s premier beer and food event is back! A multitude of local breweries and distilleries will be participating along with some of San Diego’s best chefs. Each ticket includes unlimited sampling from every participating brewery, distillery and eatery. Participating breweries include Firestone Walker, Stone, Green Flash, Lagunitas, La Jolla Brewing Company, and more.

2nd Annual Filipino Sun Festival

When: Saturday April 4, 10am-6pm
Where: Mira Mesa Community Park. 8575 New Salem St., San Diego 92126
What: The Filipino Sun Festival is the newest festival to hit Mira Mesa that will celebrate Filipino and Filipino American culture! There will be traditional and contemporary fun for the whole family in a FREE festival hosted and presented to you by the community. You can expect live entertainment, cooking demos, dance competitions, a beer garden, and more than 80 vendors. The pre-festival kickoff was this past March at Mission Beach.

Belmont Park’s Easter Eggstravaganza

When: Sunday April 5, 9am-4pm
Where: Belmont Park. 3146 Mission Blvd., San Diego 92109
What: Egg Hunt Times Two! 10,000 fun-filled eggs will be hidden on the beach and throughout the park. There will be a Mission Beach Egg Hunt between 9am and 12pm that meets in front of WaveHouse and is $5/child; register online beforehand for this one. The Amusement Park Egg Hunt will be at 12pm and is free for all – no registration necessary. A buffet style Easter Brunch at WaveHouse Beach Club will finish off the day; reservations are recommended.
