General admission costs $35; kids age 12 and under get in free with a paying adult. All proceeds will help support the San Diego Food Bank and its North County chapter; attendees are also encouraged to bring canned food donations. NBC 7 and Telemundo 20 will have a booth at the Blues Festival; stop by and say hello!

Craft beer enthusiasts, this one’s for you. More than 40 craft breweries and cider houses will come together for the Carlsbad Brewfest this Saturday at Holiday Park. Music, entertainment and food will round-out the event; general admission tickets cost $55. New this year: several local brewers – including Culver Beer Co., Burgeon Beer Company, and Pizza Port, to name a few – have collaborated to create West Coast IPA that’ll be released at the fest. Cheers!
