The holiday season is upon us, and this weekend is packed with events. So what are you waiting for? Make your plans now! There’s something for everyone!

Saturday, Nov. 30th

Small Business Saturday
All Day, Across San Diego County

This Saturday, it’s all about shopping small. Communities like La Jolla, North Park, South Park, Little Italy, Liberty Station and more will celebrate Small Business Saturday, a nationwide day to support the local, independent businesses that make our neighborhoods unique. Happy browsing and buying, San Diego!

Surfin’ Santa
1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Seaport Village
Surfs up in the North Pole! Only in San Diego. Surfin’ Santa – sporting boardshorts and a Hawaiian shirt – cruises into the bayfront by watercraft for the 13th annual Surfin’ Santa celebration at Seaport Village. Santa’s grand entrance goes down at the boardwalk. After he’s on dry land, he will post for photos and lead a festive parade along the scenic landmark. The event is free.

Sunday, Dec. 1st

Yoga at Sunset Cliffs
11 a.m. to 12 p.m. (every Sunday), Sunset Cliffs Natural Park
Enjoy a free, outdoor yoga session on Sunset Cliffs Sunday morning, overlooking the ocean. Bring your mat (and a towel or blanket to put underneath it), water, and sweater in case it gets chilly. You’ll be saying “namaste right here…”

Guided Nature Walk
9:30 a.m., Mission Trails Regional Park Visitor Center
It’s going to be a beautiful weekend to get outside! Take a free guided 1.5 hour nature walk from Mission Trails Regional Park. Along the way you’ll learn about animals, plants, and history of this park in San Diego.
