San Diego and La Jolla Weekend Events: February 8th & 9th

Saturday, February 8th:

Brewbies Beer Festival
1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Bagby Beer Co.
Cheers, big beers! The 11th annual Brewbies Beer Festival is happening this Saturday at Bagby Beer Co. in Oceanside. A $49 general admission ticket includes unlimited 2-ounce samplings of 80+ craft beers, plus a keepsake glass and bracelet. Plus, all proceeds from this beer festival are donated to the Keep A Breast Foundation, an organization focused on breast cancer prevention and education.

Second Saturday Market
2 p.m. to 6 p.m., San Diego Made Factory
This weekend, shop local! San Diego Made – a collective of local creatives, makers, craftsman, and small business owners – hosts its Second Saturday Market at its “Factory” at 2031 Commercial St. The unique market will feature a pop-up shop with 15+ local makers, music, games, cocktails, food, and more! Free event!

Sunday, February 9th:

Yoga + Mimosa Mornings
9:30 a.m., Windmill Food Hall (Carlsbad)
Looking for some peace and tranquility this weekend? Enjoy a Sunday morning yoga session at the brand-new Windmill Food Hall in Carlsbad led by a certified instructor. Afterward, 21+ participants can enjoy a mimosa at the foodie-friendly attraction. This class costs $5; and be sure to bring your own mat. Namaste.

Guided Nature Walk
9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., Mission Trails Regional Park
Start your Sunday with a little nature walk at Mission Trails Regional Park. A trail guide will take visitors through one of three trails. These weekly guided walks are free and open to the public and begin at the Visitor Center. Remember to wear sturdy shoes and bring water, a hat, and sunscreen. Rain cancels the walk.
