The popular La Jolla Halloween event – Pillage The Village – will be held on Friday, October 30th, since Halloween falls on a Saturday this year. During Pillage the Village in La Jolla participating businesses will be handing out candy to trick-or-treaters from 3-5pm. Look for black and orange balloons across the village for participating businesses on the day of.
The reason to keep it during the week is that “Kids dress up for school, and can easily walk to the Village in their costumes,” says Leon Chow, one of the organizers.
Judges will be walking around handing out nominations for best costume along with instructions on where to meet for the Best Halloween Costume at the end of the day.
La Jolla Blue Book will also be giving out candy to all pillagers at our Find It La Jolla Information and Visitors Center located at 7966 Herschel Ave La Jolla, CA 92037 (between Wall St & Prospect St).
Pillage the Village in La Jolla is made possible by the support of The La Jolla Village Merchants Association, REBA: The La Jolla Real Estate Brokers Association, and The La Jolla Chapter of the Kiwanis.
