Runners and walkers alike gathered over the weekend at Cancer Survivors Park on Harbor Island to fight for lung cancer. Breath of Hope Walk was hosted by NBC 7 San Diego’s Whitney Southwick and all of the proceeds will benefit the UC San Diego Moores Cancer Center. With over 45 teams and hundreds of participants, the walk raised over $100,000 for lung cancer research at UCSD Moores Cancer Center. This year, the event honored La Jollan Mike Stevens, who co-founded the annual San Diego Breath of Hope Lung Cancer Walk. La Jolla Blue Book was an event sponsor and we had a great time meeting all of the attendees and vendors. In case you missed it, La Jolla Blue Book was there and captured all of the action.
