High Tide Dinners At Marine Room
San Diego’s “Best Dining with a View” only gets better during High Tide Dinners. Experience High Tide Dinner at The Marine Room when the tide brings the surf right up to the picture windows. High tide times: Friday, May 24th at 9:12pm- Tide at 7.2 ft.

Silent films of La Jolla Cinema League @UCSD
As moviegoers prepare to see Leonardo DiCaprio assume the role of Jay Gatsby in a remake of the film adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel, The Great Gatsby’, UC San Diego’s Geisel Library is offering its own cinematic slice of the Roaring Twenties, La Jolla-style. Scott Paulson, outreach coordinator for the Geisel Library, will screen a selection of silent films from the La Jolla Cinema League (LJCL), accompanied by a live music score compiled by Paulson and performed by his Teeny-Tiny Pit Orchestra. FREE event at Geisel Library, Seuss Room – Saturday, May 25th at 3:00pm.

Mt. Soledad Veterans Memorial – Memorial Day Ceremony
he Mt. Soledad Veterans Memorial is hosting a Special Plaque Presentation Honoring Glen A. Doherty, and Tyrone S. Woods, Former SEALS and Libya Embassy Security Personnel who were killed during the attack on Benghazi. May 27, 2013 2:00 pm – 3:15 pm
