La Jolla is set to host this years Fashion Week San Diego Fall Runway Show with a series of week-long events featuring up-and-coming fashion designers on Sept. 28 through Oct. 4, 2015.
La Jolla is no stranger to the fashion industry as it’s home to the renowned annual La Jolla Fashion Film Festival, but this will be the first time La Jolla hosts a “Fashion Week” (think New York Fashion Week).
The signature Fall Runway Show will be showcased outdoors on Wall St., between Girard Ave. and Hershel Ave., and will feature 24 emerging womenswear, menswear, resort, kids and accessory designers.
“2015 is a particularly exciting year for Fashion Week San Diego,” said Allison Andrews, founder and director of FWSD. “Not only do we have 24 amazing designers this year, but we are moving our signature fall event to one of the best and most premier locations in Southern California. I’m thrilled our designers will get a chance to show off their new collections in such a great setting, and look forward to creating an even better, more exciting and high-end experience for our guests.”
List of Designers: A’Doreus, Alber Rezko Jewelry Designs, Alexandra Marie, B.JASH.I, Beachy Chic Couture, Bearly Proper, Black Filigree Couture, Candy Bee Swimwear, Carou Belle, Charlie Yip, Dynamite Doll, GFASH, Graciela Llorente, Lady Lane, NaPóstol, Nikki Marie, Nolan Dean, Quynn Tessential Couture, Responsive Textiles, Sasha Bravo, Saturne Collection, Scott Rich, TaSanni, Territa Torres.
In addition, La Valencia will be hosting a trunk show and award ceremony on Oct. 4, providing attendees with an opportunity to shop the runway looks and meet the designers.
VIP ($200), General Admission ($100), and Front Row VIP ($350) passes are on sale now. Sunday trunk show and award ceremony tickets are also available for $25.
