Save a Heart, Save a Life 5K
8 a.m., NTC Park at Liberty Station
Get your running shoes laced up, and head down the the “Save a Heart Save a Life 5K” this weekend. The event will be held at NTC Park at Liberty Station. Proceeds will go to prevention of sudden cardiac arrest. Registration costs $55 for adults and $35 for runner 18 and younger. All participants will get a t-shirt, finisher medal, goodie bags, prizes and refreshments.
Chinese New Year Festival
11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Saturday and Sunday), International Cottages at Balboa Park
Chinese New Year is here and The International Cottage at Balboa Park are celebrating! This event will include llive entertainment, a fashion show and food. In celebration of the Chinese culture, there will also be the Lion and Kung-Fu Dragon Dance, in addition to other performances. Don’t miss this beautiful celebration!

Guided Nature Walk

If the Super Bowl isn’t your scene, then it’s going to be a beautiful weekend to get outside! Take a free guided 1.5 hour nature walk from Mission Trails Regional Park. Along the way you’ll learn about animals, plants, and history of this park in San Diego.
