The La Jolla Open Aire Market is celebrating its sweet sixteen with their annual Harvest Festival on Sunday, October 26. Come dressed in your Halloween costume and bring the whole family for a day of fun and games!
The Harvest Festival will be from 10am – 1pm and will include a ton of family-friendly activities: potato sack races, mini pumpkin decorating, soccer and other games, dancing, music, and a whole host of prizes. Plus, if you can guess the weight of the giant pumpkin at the festival, you get to take it home!
The La Jolla Open Aire Market is located at the upper playground of La Jolla Elementary School (corner of Girard St. and Genter Ave) in La Jolla. The Market is a weekly, ongoing event that occurs every Sunday and offers a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables from local farms, cut flowers, and more. Participating vendors vary, but usually include farms like Suzie’s Farm, Morning Star Ranch, Carlsbad Strawberry Co., and food vendors like Cucina Caprese, Puesto Mexican Street Food, The Cheese Store, Sugar & Scribe Bakery, and tons more.
