The Lock-Up: Scott and many other La Jollan’s have volunteered to be “jailbirds” for MDA’s Lock-Up fundraiser. In order to make “bail” they must encouraging friends, family, coworkers and the community to make contributions to MDA that will directly benefit families in San Diego & Imperial Counties living with progressive muscle diseases. The Lock-Up will be held from 11:00am-2:00pm. “Jailbirds” will be picked up in a “paddy wagon”, provided by San Diego Jaguar, who will then be returned after they’ve served their time “behind bars”.

Where your donation goes: Your donation will help send children ages 6-17 affected by neuromuscular disease to a week-long summer camp at Camp Cuyamaca where they can be “just kids.” Our goal is to send one child with MS to camp which costs about $800. This fee covers transportation, food, lodging, specially trained counselers, medical accommodations, and much more! Just think, if 80 people give just $10, that’s about two Starbucks drinks, you can help send one child with MS to one week of fun and adventure! Every donation makes a difference, so please make your tax deductible donation now!
