Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas! Dec 20-26th
Don’t miss America’s favorite holiday fable, back for its 13th incredible year, is a wonderful, whimsical production that will once again jump right off the pages of the classic Dr. Seuss book and onto the Old Globe’s stage. The Old Globe last showing is Dec 26th.

Garden of Lights 2013 December 7 – 23 and 26 – 30
The San Diego Botanic Garden brings your favorite elements of the winter season all to one location. The San Diego Botanic Garden is a dazzling winter wonderland filled with over 100,000 sparkling lights illuminating the Garden for a magical holiday experience. The farmers market is held every Sunday at La Jolla Elementary from 9:00am-1:00pm. Take the entire family or just cruise down on your bike to pick up local and organic foods.

Dick Dale Holiday Show at Belly Up Dec 22nd
Dick Dale is more than just an artist – he’s a musical phenomenon. Right as the world was wrapping its collective head around the idea of rock ‘n roll in the 1950s, Dale was busy inventing surf music with the goal of recreating the sound of waves on his guitar.
