We know there’s a huge international convention going on in town, but sharing the spotlight this weekend is another international event that truly holds its own. The La Jolla Fashion Film Festival celebrates it’s 5th year at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego in La Jolla, showcasing fashion films that not only celebrates the art of fashion – but film, beauty, wardrobe stylists, writers, music, and any component that helps make a fashion film a unique genre.
This year, LJFFF continues its tradition of informative panels, networking events, after parties and the International Fashion Film Awards. Special guests include creatives from Vogue Brazil, GQ Spain, and so much more. Hosted by acclaimed movie critic and TV personality Jeffrey Lyons (who also hosted the 2013 San Diego Film Festival) and a retrospective of one of the most sought after luxury filmmakers, Paris based Bruno Aveillan – LJFFF is set to be THE place for fashion entertainment and industry networking. And if that doesn’t get you, yes there will be more films from Mr. Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld.
