Get out there and enjoy the last official weekend of summer with our La Jolla Events guide. There are plenty of local events going on around town but if you’re feeling a bit adventurous check out the Carlsbad Music Festival, or visit the Encinitas Oktoberfest on Sunday!

Opening Reception The Kincade Chronicle by Jim Machacek

Scripps on Prospect: Evolution of Villa and Cottage

Cine En El Parque: El Manzano Azul
All screenings will take place behind the Center for the Arts at Grape Day Park. Films begin at dusk. Movie is FREE and open to the public. Food and drink are available for purchase. SUNDAY Sept 22
Encinitas Oktoberfest 2013
This year we are happy to sponsor the Encinitas Oktoberfest! Featuring Bavarian dancers and bands, along with a street craft faire featuring over 200 vendors, including artisans with unusual arts and craft items, a family food and refreshment tent serving authentic German food and beer and a ceremonial parade.
