Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony Viewing Party
In collaboration with the U.S.S. Midway Museum and NBC7, the U.S. Olympics Training Center will be hosting an opening ceremony viewing party on board the U.S.S Midway Museum. The event is free to the public and will be held on board the flight deck of the famed aircraft carrier. Doors open at 6:30pm with a live program at 7:00pm, and followed by the opening ceremony broadcast at 7:30pm. Visit midway.org for more information.
24th Annual San Diego Jewish Film Festival
Tonight marks the start of the first weekend screenings for the 24th Annual San Diego Jewish Film Festival. The festival will be showcasing over 60 contemporary Jewish-themed films from around the world celebrating life, human rights, and freedom of expression. For more information, visit sdcjc.org.

Museum Of Contemporary Art San Diego | La Jolla
Join the world famous MCASD, in collaboration with the La Jolla Historical Society, to view their most recent exhibit, “Scripps On Prospect”. Explore how the local philanthropic efforts of Ellen and Virginia Scripps helped contribute to the social and community development of La Jolla. On display in the Joan and Irwin Jacobs Gallery, the exhibit also highly focuses on the history of culture in downtown La Jolla. Admission ranges from $5-$10. Visit the museum for more information.
