La Jolla Concours d’ Elegance April 5-7th
The chic allure of La Jolla’s avenues has drawn the finest automobiles to this coastal town for the ninth year at the La Jolla Concours d’Elegance and The La Jolla Motor Car Classic at the Concours. Spectators from all over the nation come to the breathtaking shores of La Jolla to view their favorite classics. This year, the La Jolla Concours d’Elegance will be tipping its hat to some of the world’s finest Classics: Rolls Royce, Bentley, Bugatti, Cadillac, and of course Duesenberg. For the third consecutive year the Athenaeum presents the work of the San Diego Art Prize recipients. The San Diego Art Prize spotlights established San Diego artists together with emerging artists. A panel of local art administrators selects the established artists and they, in turn, select an emerging artist. San Diego Crew Classic April 6-7th
The Board of Directors of the San Diego Crew Classic Inc.® takes pleasure in inviting rowers from around the world to come to picturesque Mission Bay to compete in the 40th San Diego Crew Classic. The regatta has grown considerably since its inception in 1973. Today, it is a two-day, nationally acclaimed regatta, consisting of close to 100 races with more than 4000 athletes. The Crew Classic is excited to have the San Diego Zoo & Safari Park Family Festival back this year for the 40th Anniversary. San Diego Community Holocaust Commemoration “Remember, Honor, and Teach: Children of the Holocaust”
The San Diego community will present a special Holocaust commemoration (Yom Hashoah) program. The theme will be “Remember, Honor, and Teach: Children of the Holocaust.” Featuring local Survivor Teresa Racz Fischlowitz. The program is free and open to the public.
