Thursday, Nov 5 – Saturday, Nov 14
San Diego is home to the largest Asian Film Festival on the West Coast! Featuring more than 130 films from 15 different countries at five different venues in San Diego, the SDAFF is something you won’t want to miss. Experience national and international films, get up close and personal with filmmakers, and cast with Q&A and photo opportunities. Attending celebrities include Ken Jeong, Randall Park, Jamie Chung, and Aaron Yoo. There will be six different venues throughout the city this year.

San Diego is home to more than 100 breweries and has already gained an international reputation for brewing award-winning beers – and now there’s a whole week to celebrate! San Diego Beer Week is a ten-day celebration that promotes local, craft beer San Diego’s thriving brewing culture with multiple events happening across the county all week. Saturday, Nov 7
Join Green Flash Brewing Co., the Regal Beagle, Cal Coast Cycles, and the San Diego Mountain Bike Association in our third annual Bikes, Brews & Brats event! The Adelaide’s Holiday Open House has been a La Jolla Christmas tradition for more than 25 years. It’s a great way to get in the holiday spirit and provides locals with the opportunity to browse a sampling of what local shops will offer this holiday season. Each business will be celebrating the holiday spirit with several store drawings, food, refreshments, music, book signings, great gift ideas, and old-fashioned friendly service. 10% of all sales from that day will go to local charities.

November in the Village kicks off with the third annual So Fine on Kline block party! This year’s event will be November 8 from 10 am – 6 pm. This year’s Veteran’s Day Parade celebrates the “70th Anniversary Of World War II and America’s Greatest Generation;” join in delivering a greatly-deserved tribute to all U.S. Veterans who served during the war years 1941 to 1945! The San Diego Veterans Day Parade is produced by “Veterans Week San Diego”, an all-volunteer team of Veterans and citizens of all ages and walks of life, dedicated to honoring Veterans annually during Veterans Week. The San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival is an international showcase of the world’s premier wines and spirits, culinary personalities, and gourmet foods. The week-long experience celebrates San Diego’s vibrant culinary community with over 100 citywide events, wine and cooking classes, chef dinners, and multiple tasting events. The largest parade in San Diego County is also the largest of its type west of the Mississippi. Each year, the Mother Goose Parade attracts thousands of spectators to the streets of El Cajon. More than 100 colorful and exciting parade entries come from around the United States to share in the excitement that is the Mother Goose Parade. The parade entries include spectacular motorized floats, marching bands and drill units, equestrians, animated clowns, special characters, performing artists, giant helium balloons, and of course, Santa Claus.

Get ready for Santa to bust out out his boardshorts and favorite Hawaiian shirt and cruise in from San Diego Bay via Seaplane for the tenth annual Surfin’ Santa celebration at Seaport Village! From 1pm-5pm, visitors can pose for pictures with Santa on his giant surfboard, riding a six-foot wave. The 36th San Diego Jazz Fest over Thanksgiving will present a variety of traditional jazz music, from ragtime to swing to dixieland at the Town & Country Resort and Hotel in Hotel Circle. Jazz bands and musicians from across the U.S. will perform.
