One wouldn’t guess that the charming little 100-year old bungalow at 6911 La Jolla Blvd. has been home to one of La Jolla’s leading animal hospitals since the 1970s, but the weathered blue and white sign out front represents a long history. Windan’Sea Veterinary Clinic has been a highly regarded animal hospital in La Jolla for more than 40 years, and is still providing premiere medical care for pets throughout San Diego. Tails were waggin’ at the first ever San Diego Pet Expo this past weekend at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. La Jolla Blue Book had a great time meeting new friends, both human and four-legged! The event included over 150 exhibitors, an agility course, dozens of rescue groups, live entertainment, demonstrations, costume contests, celebrity guest Shorty from Pit Boss and so much more. We even got up-close-and-personal with snakes, rats and a donkey! The mega adoption area featured more than 300 pets looking for new homes. The first annual San Diego Pet Expo is coming to Del Mar! The free event is for animals lovers and their pets from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 1 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.
