From November 10 until December 15, the La Jolla Blue Book is participating in the Toys for Tots 2014 campaign as a drop-off location. Visit us at the Find It La Jolla Visitor Center (7966 Herschel Avenue) seven days a week between 11am and 3pm with a new, unwrapped toy for a child up to age 12.

La Jolla Events | Weekend February 7-9

Celebrate the month of love by exploring the amazing events that La Jolla and San Diego have to offer! From watching the opening ceremonies of the Winter Olympics onboard the famed U.S.S. Midway, to having a romantic Pop Up Picnic on a secluded beach, there is plenty to do. Here is a preview of what is coming up this weekend:



Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony Viewing Party
In collaboration with the U.S.S. Midway Museum and NBC7, the U.S. Olympics Training Center will be hosting an opening ceremony viewing party on board the U.S.S Midway Museum. The event is free to the public and will be held on board the flight deck of the famed aircraft carrier. Doors open at 6:30pm with a live program at 7:00pm, and followed by the opening ceremony broadcast at 7:30pm. Visit midway.org for more information.


24th Annual San Diego Jewish Film Festival
Tonight marks the start of the first weekend screenings for the 24th Annual San Diego Jewish Film Festival.
