Atmosphere, food, and service are important aspects of every restaurant, especially where brunch is concerned. Brockton Villa combines all three of these components into one truly fabulous brunch with a view of the coast, making it one of the best La Jolla restaurants with a view.

The atmosphere. Brockton Villa is situated in a charming cottage just yards away from the cliffs of the gorgeous La Jolla Cove. For over 20 years, locals and visitors alike have enjoyed coming to Brockton Villa to admire La Jolla’s natural coastal beauty, not to mention that the view is the perfect backdrop for a delectable meal. Don’t forget to bring your camera!

The food. Brockton Villa offers a range of sweet and savory fare, with signature twists on breakfast and brunch classics. We especially enjoy the famous soufflé-like Coast Toast, sweetened with orange zest, and the underrated Breakfast Tacos, filled with eggs, potatoes, salsa, and your choice of bacon or soy chorizo. If you like bubbly with your brunch (served after 11AM), try the Pomegranate Mimosa or the House Made White Wine Sangria.

The service. The polite and attentive servers will treat you as if you are a guest in their home. If you ever have trouble deciding what to order–which is likely to happen, considering that everything on the menu is appealing to no end–you can trust your server to give you a great recommendation.

Brockton Villa is located at 1235 Coast Blvd, La Jolla, CA 92037. Hours are 8 AM-9 PM every day, and you can make reservations online or by calling (858) 454-7393.
