Chedi Thai has probably one of the best lunch deals in all of San Diego, especially if you’re in the mood for Thai. We suggest starting out with popular tofu summer rolls (Rice paper, romaine heart, avocado, cucumber, carrot, peanut sauce), and if you’re in the mood for curry go for the Yellow Curry with Tofu or if you’re in the mood for Pad Thai try the Pad Thai with Chicken option.

Best spot for lunch with a view of the cove! We suggest ordering the Grilled Fish Tacos (salsa fresca, chili crème fraîche, cabbage) served with a side of brown rice and black beans. End with the “World Famous” Coast Toast a la Mode.

Galaxy Taco

Trey Foshee’s new restaurant ventures into the cali-baja scene with locally sourced food and house-made tortillas. For SDRW choose from two courses: a starter and two tacos. We suggest Starting off with the birria steamed clams (onions, cilantro, radish, grilled bread); for tacos – The Tacolandia (marinated, braised and seared pork shoulder, jalapeno slaw, chicarron) and the lamb barbacoa (onion, tomato-mint sala, yogurt). Has a dog friendly patio.

Cafe LaRue
Cost: LUNCH: $20
Located inside La Valencia hotel, Cafe LaRue will be offering a two-course meal: ménage à trois entrée and a dessert. Start off with the Muffuleta sandwich, soup du jour & truffel fries. Leave room for dessert -try the lavender Crème brûlée with fresh berries beignets. Has a dog friendly patio.

Crab Catcher

Another great lunch spot with view of the Cove. Crab Catcher will be offering a two-course lunch: appetizer and entrée. Start off with baja shrimp & blue crab wontons (sweet potato-plantain msh, kiwi-curry beurre blanc). Entrée try the Crab Catcher B.L.T (blue crab salad, garlic buttered brioche, romaine, tomato, applewood smoked bacon) served with a side of french fries.

Herringbone La Jolla
Cuisine: SEAFOOD
Cost: LUNCH: $20
For SDRW, Herringbone will be offering a two-course meal: a starter and an entrée. Start with the lil gem Cesar and the two-hand burger (applewood smoked bacon, cheddar, onion jam, aioli, arugula) or for an extra $10 you can try our favorite, the lobster roll.
