Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights is an eight-day Jewish holiday celebrated with games, food, gifts, and music. This years holiday begins at sundown on December 6 and ends on Monday, December 14. Chanukah in the Snow
When: Sunday, December 6, 2:30-5:00 pm.
Where: CHA (Chabad Hebrew Academy) – 10785 Pomerado Road San Diego, CA 92131
What: Come enjoy forty tons of fresh snow complete with tobogganing, hot drinks and sweet treats. Bundle up and bring your sleds. Fun for the entire family. Tickets are $6.

32ND Annual Hanukkah Happening at The JCCM
When: Sunday, December 6, 2015 • 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Where: 4126 Executive Drive, La Jolla, California 92037
What: Head over to the JCC and start your holiday shopping at this years holiday extravaganza, fun for the entire family! Featuring jumpy jubilee, games, crafts, prizes, arcade, kosher & dairy food plus theme baskets for all ages at great prices! Admission: TBA, children under 2 admitted FREE. Free Parking Available (with Validation).

Hanukkah at Westfield Mission Valley Mall
When: Sunday, December 6 from 4-6pm.
Where: Westfield Mission Valley Mall
What: Meet at the Macy’s court for music, donuts, latkes, and much more! This free event is hosted by the Chabad of SDSU and Chabad of East County.

Menorah Lighting at UTC Mall
When: Monday, December 7th 5:30pm
Where: Westfield UTC Mall
What: Celebrate the second night of Hanukkah with the Menorah lighting, music, chocolate gelt, and jelly donuts! This free event is hosted by the Chabad Center of UC.

Hanukkah Supper Adventure
When: Tuesday, December 8, 2015, 4:30pm
Where: Milton’s Restaurant & Delicatessen 2660 Via De La Valle, Del Mar, CA 92014
What: Join us for a festive Hanukkah Supper Adventure with acclaimed authors Janice Steinberg & Ona Russell. The Hanukkah Supper Adventure will be a thoughtful evening set at Milton’s Deli, where both those celebrating Hanukkah, as well as those who would like to learn about the Jewish holiday, can come together for a meal. Cost: $40 per person.

Chanukah Party at Chabad UC
When: Thursday, December 10, at 6:30pm
Where: 3818 Governor Dr. San Diego 92122
What: Featuring live music, pizza, latkes, donuts and it’s free! ($10 donation suggested). Musical enternatinment by Hanan Avital & Pirchei Yerushalayim.

Hanukkah Bonanza at Beth El
When: December 11-13, 2015
Where: 8660 Gilman Drive, La Jolla, CA 92037
What: Shabbat services will feature bluegrass melodies and singing by Doni Zasloff and Eric Lindberg. Shabbat dinner will feature country western favorites including Batya’s famous BBQ sauce Chicken. Tickets start at $15. Saturday will feature a Hanukkah hoedown with great music and food from 4-8:45pm.

Carlsbad Annual Hanukkah Party
When: Friday, December 11th, 7 p.m.
Where: 2510 Gateway Road, Carlsbad.
What: Join this free and fun Hanukkah party which includes a menorah lighting, singing, latkes and donuts hosted by Congregation B’nai Tikvah. Bring a non-perishable item for the holiday food drive for Interfaith Community Services.

Congregation Dor Hadash’s 12th Annual Hanukkah Celebration
