1. Galaxy Taco

La Jolla, CA 92037
Opened in July

Galaxy Taco is La Jolla Shore’s’ new kid on the block, serving what Executive Chef Trey Foshee (George’s At The Cove) calls “good, solid Mexican food.” The menu offers a wide variety of plates, ranging from appetizers to tacos to dinner entrées, as well as an extensive tequila, mezcal, and cocktail menu. We suggest trying Chef Foshee’s “Tacolandia”–a taco inspired by his entry in last year’s Tacolandia taco contest made with marinated pork shoulder topped with jalapeño-cabbage slaw and crispy chicharon pigs ears.
