The 6th Annual La Jolla Art and Wine Festival

La Jolla Art and Wine Festival

This weekend is the 6th Annual La Jolla Art and Wine Festival taking place in the heart of The Village. The festival is a two-day art show and fundraiser that has rapidly gained the reputation of being one of the most prestigious art and wine festivals in Southern California.

The festival was first started by the founders of the La Jolla Open Aire Market and Friends Of La Jolla Elementary. The profits raised by the event benefit underfunded programs like art, music, science, physical education, technology, and on-site medical care at local public elementary and middle schools.

The La Jolla Art and Wine Festival features the works of over 150 artists from San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange County, Baja and more. The family-friendly festival will feature live music and entertainment, a gourmet marketplace, a family art center, silent auction, and beer and wine gardens that include premier wineries and some of San Diego’s top breweries.

The festival will be held this Saturday, October 11th from 10am- 7pm and Sunday, October 12th from 10am-6pm on Girard Ave (between Prospect Ave and Torrey Pines Rd). The festival is free and open to the public.
