Opening Day at the Del Mar Racetrack returns on Thursday, July 16th, for an annual celebration of high-stakes thrills and luxury. Get out your party hats and your dapper suits, and celebrate Opening Day at one of these luxe afterparties:

See and be seen at this party, hosted by the luxurious L’Auberge Del Mar. Sip on signature cocktails, crafted by L’Auberge’s mixologists, while you take in spectacular views of the ocean. On the pool deck, Southern California DJs FishFonics and Gabe Vega will play fun and fresh beats to lay the setting for this stylish seaside celebration; Kitchen 1540 will provide delicious cuisine for guests to enjoy. Head over to CUCINA enoteca for “Eight Furlongs to CUCINA,” the restaurant’s signature Opening Day celebration. From 11:30 AM-10 PM, CUCINA enoteca will offer handcrafted cocktails and seasonal dishes to celebrate Del Mar’s favorite day of the year. If you partake in a pre-race lunch, make sure to grab a $5 Track Bag, containing tasty treats and CUCINA’s race picks. After you’ve collected your winnings at the track, enjoy a post-race dinner on the upstairs patio or in the downstairs communal area.

Searsucker Del Mar’s Opening Day Soirée promises to be a hot post-race destination. Guests will have the opportunity to sip on a hosted glass of bubbly from French champagne house Veuve Clicquot, and bottle service will also be available. There will also be live music sponsored by the upcoming KAABOO music festival, which will be held at the Del Mar Racetrack and Fairgrounds in mid-September.
